Build the River District Community Centre Now!

River District residents were promised a community centre and childcare facility by 2025. That deadline has passed, but the community is still waiting.

River District is growing, with more homes and more residents coming to the neighbourhood. But the community amenities residents were promised have not kept pace.

A community centre and childcare facility were supposed to be delivered by 2025. Instead, residents are still waiting while additional residential development continues to move forward.

River District families deserve the community infrastructure that was promised to them.

We are calling on the City of Vancouver to take immediate action to deliver the River District Community Centre and childcare facility, establish a clear and publicly accountable timeline for construction, and ensure the necessary commitments are in place to get it built.

Sign the petition and tell City Hall that River District has waited long enough. It is time to build the community centre.
